Ain't No Rest for the Girlies

Hey Girlies, Kristina here!

We are coming up quick to our soft launch at Mosaic Aisles on July 15th at booth D25! We got a lot done this week in preparation. The first thing we messed around with was using Carly’s sassy Cricut machine to cut out some stickers of our logo that would go on tags we put in little drawstring bags for all of our worry stones. They came out so cute, but in classic printer fashion we immediately ran out of colored ink but thankfully we had enough ready for a good batch of what we had. We also tried to continue our friendship bracelet sign project but sometimes you have to learn when to pivot and shift priorities if something isn’t going your way. So instead of doing all of the modge podge and paper mache stuff to get the right texture of our large foam beads we just ended up buying some and it helped so much to be able to focus on more important things like our inventory. So we ended up setting up and calibrating our new mini laser engraver so we can create custom designs for you guys and original designs for our products too! We even have a grid to align everything consistently which we made with this engraver and it succeeded beautifully. Speaking of customization, we put out a survey this week that had questions about pricing and interest in different items and we hear you loud and clear about having many different customization options! Your input was super helpful and we are pleased to say we’re all of the same mind in how the business is currently going and we’ll be making adjustments to keep it that way. If you're interested in taking the survey, there will be a link before the pictures below. Back at the shop we made some touch ups to the paint, and hung up our sign that Carly so masterfully painted. Y’all - it’s coming together so well we just stared at it for a while. We even have a flower rug that matched our branding nearly perfectly. There’s a few more additions we want to make but that’ll be for a future blog so stay tuned!
